Winemaker’s notes:
A remarkably delicious Cabernet Sauvignon with beautiful structure and character. It opens with a hint of spice aromas, giving way to rich ripe fruit. On the palate, black cherry, cassis, and blackberry pie. Ripe, dark fruit and black cherry become prominent as it evolves in the glass. This Cabernet has solid, yet soft phenolics which makes it easy to enjoy now or lay it down for several more years.
Fruit for the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is from the Johnson Family Vineyard located slightly north and west of Paso Robles, just a few miles inland from Hearst Castle, as the eagle flies, on the east side of the Santa Lucia Mountains.
